Strontium Titanate
Strontium titanate is a man-made, transparent, essentially colorless crystalline
material sometimes used as a diamond simulant. It is singly refractive, with a
refractive index (RI) of 2.409, a specific gravity of 5.13, a hardness (Mohs) of
5 to 6, and a dispersion of 0.190; its chemical composition is
SrTiO3. Marketed under various proprietary names.
